What a Life Path number is
In numerology, the Life Path is the single digit—or preserved master number—produced from the numbers in a birth date. It is commonly interpreted as a recurring pattern: the kinds of strengths you may develop, the tensions worth noticing, and the situations that repeatedly ask for a more mature response.
LifePathia uses the component method as its standard: reduce the month, day, and year separately, preserve 11, 22, and 33 where the method encounters them, then add those components. We show the compound as well as the final core so a result such as 15/6 does not become three competing identities.

Core, compound, and master are different layers
The core number is the clearest answer. A compound such as 15/6 records the unreduced step and can describe how the 6 theme is reached. A master expression such as 33/6 is preserved only when the declared method actually lands on 33. These labels should clarify the calculation, not inflate it.
If two calculators disagree
The likely cause is grouping order, not a broken birthday. A component method can produce 15/6 while a straight-across digit sum exposes 33/6. LifePathia shows both, declares one standard, and keeps the alternate result in a secondary role.
